The second edition of the International Floriculture Trade Fair (IFTF Expo) was held from Wednesday November 2 to Friday November 4. It was the industry wide event serving all segments of the floriculture industry, especially breeders, propagators, growers, suppliers, importers, wholesalers and retailers. Uniting buyers and suppliers from each stage of the floriculture production & trading cycle, is the goal of this international trade fair.

IFTF has found an excellent home base in Expo Haarlemmermeer, the former 2002 Floriade Hall designed and built as a state of the art greenhouse building. It is situated in the town of Vijfhuizen near Aalsmeer, where the FloraHolland Flower Auction is located which also hosts a trade show for their own members only, at the very same dates as IFTF. A beautiful venue that currently has 13.000 m² exhibition space with an extension possibility of another 10.000 m², making it a total of 23.000 m² available exhibition space. It was now decided to make this extra 10.000 extra m² available as well, due to the high demand for exhibit space for the second edition in 2011.
