Macedonia: Satellite communication

Advance Consulting has supported a Dutch client to obtain PSI financing for the establishment of a joint business project with a Macedonian partner in the area of satellite communication.

The PSI programme contributes close to Euro 600,000 (50%) to the investment costs of the project. The investment comprises of a hardware component and a training and technical assistance component, enabling the Dutch company to transfer one of its engineers to Macedonia during the start-up period of the project.

The business to be established in Macedonia is innovative for the country. It is a knowledge-intensive activity that will strengthen the position of both the Dutch and the Macedonian partners on their respective markets. Cooperation with the local University is also envisaged within the project.
