Indonesia Facility - technological cooperation
The Dutch government’s Indonesia Facility (Indonesië Faciliteit) is a grant (subsidy) scheme set up to encourage international partnership projects in the following sectors:
The purpose of the Indonesia Facility is to contribute to sustainable development in Indonesia by supporting human resources development activities that promote stability and security, be it socially, economically or ecologically. Furthermore, the facility intends to promote a business climate for sustainable investment.
In case your project contributes to development of knowledge in Indonesia in cooperation with a knowledge institute or a civil-society institution in The Netherlands and Indonesia, this may be the funding source you are looking for.
The Indonesia Facility is funded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and administered by governmental agency EVD.
Who can apply? A project must be carried out by an international consortium. The target group of the programme includes Dutch knowledge institutes, NGOs and enterprises. The consortium should preferably involve one knowledge institute in The Netherlands and one in Indonesia. Dutch enterprises may only submit an application together with a Dutch knowledge institute. The participating companies must demonstrate that there is no profit motive in the activities of the consortium.
Main requirements

The project theme must involve one (or more) of the above mentioned sectors;

The project duration is a minimum of 1 year and a maximum of 3 years;

The requested grant does not exceed 80% of the total project costs with a maximum of € 600,000;

The project costs must exceed the minimum amount of €125,000.
A project proposal will be ranked according to the following criteria:

There is a clear demand for the activities involved from the Indonesian side;

Sustainability of the project;
-
The extent to which project activities promote development of knowledge and knowledge transfer;

Quality of project plan and operational plan;
-
Quality of project organisation;
-
Dissemination of project results and spin-off.
