MMF - Matchmaking Facility
Companies in emerging economies are often on the lookout for reliable business partners abroad. The Matchmaking Facility (MMF) can help to put those companies in touch with companies in the Netherlands. The Matchmaking Facility is funded by the Dutch Minister of Development Cooperation and administered by the EVD, and is designed to stimulate cooperation and investment by Dutch companies in targeted countries.
How does it work?
If your company is interested in cooperation with a company from the Netherlands and you are located in one of the eligible countries, first contact your local Dutch Embassy. Companies that fulfil the requirements of the Facility and are considered suitable by the local Dutch Embassy are presented to the EVD International. EVD then gives the assignment to one of the co-operating consultants to start the partner search.The consultant finds at least three Dutch potential partner candidates for you, prepares and facilitates your visit to these companies and the follow-up phase after the visit.
Which companies can apply?
Your company must:
- be privately owned,
- have a good business track record,
- exist for a least two years,
- have at least ten employees,
- be financial healthy and
- be an interesting partner for a Dutch company from a commercial point of view.

Benin, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cape Verde, Democratic Republic of Congo, Egypt, Ethiopia, Gambia, Ghana, Kenya, Madagascar, Malawi, Mali, Morocco, Mozambique, Rwanda, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Sudan, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia.
Asia:
Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Mongolia, Nepal, Pakistan, Palestine Territories, Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam, Yemen.
LatinAmerica:
Bolivia, Colombia, Guatemala, Nicaragua, Peru.
Eastern Europe:
Albania, Armenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Georgia, Kosovo, Macedonia, Moldova.
