In March 2010 Irma Verhoosel graduated from her study International Business Administration at the Erasmus University Rotterdam. During her bachelor exchange she studied for half a year at the Singapore Management University in Singapore and for her master exchange she studied for half a year at the Fundação Getulio Vargas in São Paulo, Brazil. Her dad lives in Florianopolis, Brazil and while living in Brazil for a year she got to learn to speak Portuguese.

Before Irma started to work for Advance Consulting, she worked in Angola for one year, developing an expat guide.
