Karin Bleijlevens has more than 15 years of international experience as business advisor and coordinator of private-sector driven projects in Asia, Africa, Eastern Europe, but especially Latin America. With her background in tropical agronomy from the Wageningen University, Karin was earlier mainly involved in projects and programmes related to sustainable agricultural and natural resources management. Later on, she expanded her work also business development services, facilitation of joint ventures between Dutch entrepreneurs and those in emergent markets.

The agribusiness sector remained the main focus, but is no longer the sole area of her attention. Karin has developed and managed projects for a broad range of private enterprises, the Dutch Government, UN Organizations and Non-Governmental Organizations.

Key areas of competence include finance acquisition, business planning, project management and corporate social responsibility. Karin is fluent in Spanish and feels as much at home in Latin America as in the Netherlands.
