USAID Feed the Future invests in countries that are committed to improving their own food security and food nutrition. The programme currently has 12 focus countries across three regions: two countries in Latin America, seven countries in Africa and two countries in Asia. The U.S. Government also coordinates activities and support across a set of aligned countries and at the regional level in Asia, Central America, and East, Southern and West Africa to improve food security and nutrition through Feed the Future. Refer to the world map below for a visual view of the eligible countries.

  • Latin America: Guatemala and Honduras
  • Africa: Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, Mali, Niger, Nigeria, Senegal and Uganda
  • Asia: Bangladesh and Nepal
